Welcome to the Bury St Edmunds Tourism Group

Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk was once the capital of East Anglia and the town and surrounding area are full of history.

This lovely medieval market town has a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the year. Convenient for Cambridge and only two hours from London, it is the perfect place to bring an organized group or to visit with family and friends.

EXHIBITION – MAY TO DECEMBER – ‘Trading Places, Changing Times’ – an exhibition looking at the developments in trade throughout the town and market place from medieval times to the present.
